The unit will start operations in the summer of 2023, with an initial annual production of around 400 000 cubic metres of softwood timber. The investment will increase the company's annual turnover by tens of millions of euros. The employment impact already during the construction phase is estimated at around 70 man-years.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>On-site foundations and machine repairs will be carried out on the site, for example for equipment, lines and buildings. As a strong industrial player, A-Perustus Oy welcomes such investments. Growth and investment in the woodworking sector will give us more confidence in the future. In the past, the company has worked on industrial contracts for Mets\u00e4 Fibre's bioproduct plant in Kemi, the Hanhikivi nuclear power plant site, SSAB, Outokumpu steel mill, Stora Enso, Kemira and several other sawmills.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\"This project already seems very good in the light of last summer's shortage of lumber material\"<\/em>, Unit Manager of A-Perustus Oy in Southern Finland, <strong>Nikke Kosonen<\/strong>, he tastes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\"We select the best professionals in their field to carry out our major investment. A-Perustus Ltd has repeatedly stood out in a positive light for its recent industrial projects, so it was natural to choose them for this project too. \"<\/em>, project manager <strong>Lassi Santala<\/strong> Koskisen Oy states.<\/p>\n\n<p>Approximately 3,500m3 of concrete and around 0.21 million kilos of steel will be used for the structures to be built.
