Last year, we decided to strike a blow in bridge building. It is admittedly a sector that has been overrun by a huge number of notches, but it is an interesting one.
It quickly became clear that cups were needed. Here too. They were not made a problem because the requirements were clear. So get the plan in place and get to work. R3 first, then R2 and finally R1. Piece by piece, it was decided.
This year's objective was to test and verify the organisation's capacity to build bridges. The objective included clear targets for recruitment, as well as R3 certification.
The early part of the year was a headache. With care. With hard heads, sometimes it's like that. Naturally. But after a lot of trial and error, we are now in a position where the bridge construction is well and truly underway and the R3 certificate dominates the interior of the office. DNV was responsible for the assessment of the operation and, with the certification, Anfra's name quickly rose to the top of the RALA list of bridge contractors (main contracting).
FISE qualifications are now available in the exceptionally demanding category of bridge construction, both for design and contracting. The fine bridge in the picture is just about to be completed in Posio. The next stop is Rovaniemi. We are also involved in the Hailuoto fixed link project as part of the 3rd party inspection team for the bridge plans.
In contracting and planning, we will naturally continue on the chosen path, developing the sector and its activities. Environmental issues and cost-efficiency will continue to be at the forefront.
If I needed a bridge, I would trust these bridges. With a light heart.
