Koskisen has launched a EUR 48 million sawmill investment at its Kärkölkä site. On-site foundations and machine repairs will be carried out on the site, including equipment, lines and building foundations. For A-Perustus Oy, as a strong industrial player, such investments are very welcome.
A-Perustus Oy and Metsä Fibre sign a contract for the on-site sulphuric acid plant and wastewater pumping station for the future bioproducts plant in Kemi. In recent years, A-Perustus Oy has strengthened its role as a strong industrial player. This is the company's third contract for the Kemi bioproduct plant site. In the past, the company has carried out industrial contracts at the Hanhikivi nuclear power plant site, SSAB, Outokumpu steelworks, Stora Enso, Kemira and several sawmills.
A-Perustus has already cooperated with Omexom Oy on several substation projects. The projects have been longer-term construction contracts, for which A-Perustus has carried out the concrete structures and in some cases also the earthworks. We interviewed Seppo Yli-Renko, who has been involved in several of the projects and works as a construction manager at Omexom Oy.
"The foundation works for the Kaupi baseball stadium are of a high standard and will be carried out within a tight schedule. A-Perustus Oy and Metsä Fibre, a Metsä Group company, have signed a contract for the construction of the foundations for the pipeline and conveyor bridges and related civil engineering works for the future bioproduct plant.
