The strategy work in the summer of '22 started from a completely different angle to anything that had gone before. I had read that creativity comes to the fore when you feel very safe in a group where you should dare to throw your ideas into the ring. I see myself as a doer rather than a softball. That's why the threshold to throw myself into this was high, but I decided to take the plunge.
The industry lacks a genuine desire and skill to optimise structures and structures are becoming heavier than necessary, both in steel and concrete. As a responsible operator, we are determined to make this clear, with minimising environmental impact being a key part of our ISO 14001 environmental management system.

During recent years, A-Perustus has focused its efforts on developing the company from
building foundations to doing heavyweight concrete construction work.
A-Perustus has been heavily involved in Metsä Group's Kemi bioproduct plant project. The cooperation between the companies has been very smooth and has increased A-Perustus' position as a strong industrial construction expert.
A-Perustus will supply all concrete structures to be cast on site for the Junnikkala sawmill to be built in Oulu.
A-Perustus has already been involved in several projects in the sawmill industry, which have included structural design, civil engineering and concrete construction. These have brought with them a strong knowledge of how to take into account the specificities of sawmills.
