Public infrastructure

Anfra specialises in public infrastructure projects that require strong expertise and precise planning. These include demanding roof renovation and road construction projects in urban environments, as well as civil engineering and concrete construction solutions for water supply needs, in both the public and private sectors.

Our experienced in-house design department and strong concrete and civil engineering expertise, combined with our agile approach, create the best conditions for all types of street construction and water supply infrastructure.

Our public infrastructure customers include cities and municipalities, ELY centres, the Finnish Transport Agency, public water utilities, water cooperatives, private water utilities and large industrial companies.

Street and water management planning

The functioning of public infrastructure is one of the pillars of a growing, comfortable and safe society. We offer a wide range of expertise in the design of roof renovation and road construction in urban environments, as well as in the design of all types of water supply infrastructure. We also carry out reviews of completed designs for structural improvements and upgrades.

Our services cover:
- General, street and building plans for streets, areas, squares and squares
- General and construction plans for lighting, signposting and traffic management
- Plans for traffic management during working hours
- Water management master plans and implementation plans

Infrastructure construction in the urban environment

We use the expertise and experience of our own professionals to build roads in particularly challenging conditions, such as in large cities in the middle of population and busy traffic. Working in an urban environment requires a wide range of skills and seamless cooperation between different actors, for example to ensure safe movement, living and business in the area during construction, through effective traffic management. We carry out both street renovations, i.e. street repairs, and new street areas, i.e. road construction.

Our service can accommodate needs of all sizes and covers e.g.

  • design of infrastructure construction
  • transport arrangements, e.g. construction of a bypass
  • foundation works, e.g. earthworks and concrete construction works
  • water supply and drainage systems
  • surfacing and asphalting
  • railings, ramp cladding and other project-related works
  • environmental landscaping works
  • handover and putting into service

When it comes to demanding roof renovation or road construction, Anfra is a reliable partner to bring quality and sustainable solutions to the urban environment. Our team is particularly known for its high quality, on-time delivery and smooth project execution.

Infrastructure construction for water supply

Water supply includes the supply, distribution and use of clean water and the disposal and treatment of waste water. Water management therefore covers the whole process from the abstraction of water from natural sources, its purification into drinking water, its distribution to consumers, to the collection, purification and return of used water, i.e. wastewater, to nature or other uses.

As a functioning water supply is a basic necessity for our society, the related construction is also strictly regulated. At Anfra, we specialise in the implementation of the most critical infrastructure of water supply: the various aspects of water supply facilities. In most cases, we are talking about huge and demanding concrete structures (including civil engineering), which require particularly solid experience and qualifications on the part of designers and builders.

  • general and implementation planning for water supply and sanitation
  • clean water tanks
  • sludge tanks
  • clarification basins
  • drainage and treatment basins
  • tank foundations
  • pumping stations
  • structures of the water treatment plant
  • dam structures

Our customers in water infrastructure include municipal and urban water utilities, water cooperatives (in rural and semi-rural areas), private water utilities and large industrial companies (whose operations require the use of their own water supply system).
